The best 25 jobs in the UK 2018

The best 25 jobs in the UK.png

It's official the best jobs in the UK for 2018 have been revealed. A lot of them are very well compensated as well. You might be considering your career path, changing careers or how to progress. This list is a great way to find out what options you have. I hope from this list of 25 you will find something that piques your interest.

If you are not familiar with my work I am a Career Strategist and Career Coach and I am highly skilled at highlighting your strengths, helping you close gaps in your weaknesses, identifying your opportunities and helping you evaluate the threats in your career. I help you position yourself for career promotions, progression or career change using proven techniques that I have taught others and used myself to build a very successful career. When we work together my goal is to increase your career confidence, take away the overwhelm of choices and making tough career decisions and show a structured and practical way to achieve your career goals.

Next month I will be hosting another career masterclass at Harvey Nichols. This time on How to create your personal development plan. Most people do have a plan but unfortunately, it is mostly geared to achieve the goals that the employer sets them to achieve company objectives. If you are in the wrong job or career then this won't be very helpful and that is why you need your own development plan. We will be working the details of what this looks like on Saturday the 10th of February. To book your ticket visit this Eventbrite page .

Some of the jobs on the list may be quite unfamiliar to you but that's OK in blogs to follow I will be sharing a lot on career change, mentoring and getting promoted, make sure you sign up to get the blog posts straight into your inbox. I also like the fact that you have insight into the number of open positions. This is great information to base your career strategy on if you have one.

Did your job make it to the list or is it missing and you think that it should be on? Have you been surprised by any of the entries?

If you are in one of these positions but earning less than the average shown it's a good sign that you need to be looking into your salary. This is something I am very passionate about. Your salary depends on a number of variables and that's why learning how to negotiate your salary especially at the time of being offered the position or when your job responsibilities change is really important. I am going to be running a workshop on the exact process for negotiating salaries at Women of Silicon Roundabout in London on 26th and 27th June 2018.
